祝建华研究案例汇编

祝建华简介

祝建华教授,美籍华裔,美国印第安纳大学大众传播学博士(1990年),曾任美国康内迪克大学传播科学系助理教授、副教授,现任教于香港城市大学英文与传播学系,是该校传播与新媒体硕士专业创办人。

祝建华教授是传播学领域成就卓著的学者,他创立的“零和游戏理论”(Zero-sum Game of Agenda-Setting)和“权衡需求理论”(Weighted Needs for New Media)在传播学界独树一帜,具有广泛的影响。曾在Public Opinion Quarterly(《舆论季刊》)、Journal of Communication(《传播学刊》)、Communication Research(《传播研究》)、Human Communication Research(《人类传播研究》)等SSCI期刊及国际学术会议上发表论文百余篇。近年开始在Communications of the ACM(《计算机协会通讯》)等SCI期刊上发表论文,为国际传播学界中少数横跨文理学科者之一。据香港中文大学Clement So于2001年按SSCI期刊的论文数和被引用数的排名,祝建华为全球华裔传播学者中“Most Prominent Scholars”(最高产和知名学者)的三人之一。

他的学术成果得到了国际传播学界和相关机构的肯定和表彰,曾获得国际传播学会(ICA)、美国新闻与大众传播教育学会(AEJMC)、美国舆论研究学会(AAPOR)和世界舆论研究学会(WAPOR)颁发的七项学术奖。目前兼任三家SSCI顶级期刊编委(包括Human Communication Research《人类传播研究》,其影响因子为44份SSCI传播学期刊之首;Communication Research《传播研究》,影响因子排名第4;是同时进入两家以上国际顶级期刊编委的唯一华人学者)。曾任美国National Science Foundation(国家科学基金会)特邀审阅人、Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication(《电脑中介传播学刊》)2002年专刊特邀主编、Chinese Communication Association (国际中华传播学会)会长(2002-04年)等。
